The replicants are juxtaposed with human figures who are unempathetic, and although the replicants demonstrate passion and issue for each other the mass of humanity around the streets is chilly and impersonal. The film goes so far as To place doubtful the character of Deckard and forces the viewers to reevaluate what it means being human. Reception
